Promoting Positive Mental Health
Good mental health helps students manage emotions, cope with stress, build relationships, and participate fully in school and life. Our strategies include:
- Safe, supportive school climates
- Access to caring adults and counselors
- Social-emotional learning (SEL) activities
- Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for prevention and early intervention Schools play an essential role in preventing mental health challenges and connecting students and families with resources.
Tip for Students & Families: Encourage open conversations about feelings, practice mindfulness or stress-reduction exercises at home/school, and reach out to school counselors when support is needed.
Physical Health & Healthy Habits
Healthy eating, physical activity, and rest are key parts of student wellness. Strategies we support include:

Substance Misuse Prevention
